Mt Alexander Shire Council was a Finalist and awarded a High Commendation for Best Achievement by a Regional Council to Encourage Carbon Farming/Emissions Reduction or related low emissions industries.

Deane Belfield received the Award for Outstanding Performance in Leadership.
